Curriculum Facts

                Fellowship Program 1200 hours over a maximum of 5 years, averaging 36 months 
- 
                189 hours of in person and online NAIOMT core advanced 700-level OMPT education courses 
- 
                63 hours of online interactive case management training 
- 
                Approx. 105 hours of project development and directed technique practice 
- 
                150 hours of direct 1:1 clinical mentoring: in person and distance mentoring and tutorials with a NAIOMT-approved clinical fellowship instructor, credentialed in OMPT (FAAOMPT or equivalent) 
- 
                Faculty availability & mentoring during 700 hours of clinical practice 
Admission Requirements
- 
                Physical therapist licensed to practice in the United States 
- 
                2000 hours of orthopedic physical therapy clinical experience. 
- 
                Existing OMPT certification OR demonstrated substantial progress towards, OR graduation from an ABTRFE approved residency program. 
Program Cost
- The NAIOMT Fellowship is a “pay as you go,” program, averaging approximately $9,000
- Costs do not include travel-related expenses nor APTA and AAOMPT membership fees
